OUT OF THE BLUE

(Romantic suspense with paranormal elements - time travel and clairvoyance)

Deirdre Dougherty never cursed at anyone, much less put a curse on the potato crop of her remote Irish village. She’d rather take her chances with the Atlantic lapping at the bottom of the cliff than the mob intent on burning her as they have her cottage. Deirdre leaps . . . and plops down 160 years later in a Texas lake. She doesn’t understand how she’s ended up with the man from her recent visions or why he has the same name as the saint to whom she prayed. She’s in danger of falling for the handsome policeman who rescued her, in spite of the fact that he thinks she’s lying to him. How can she convince him her story is true when she’s finding it difficult to believe the tale herself?

Police Detective Brendan Hunter wants answers. Who shot him and killed his partner? Why? And why does Deirdre know details of the event? Her story has to be a colossal fabrication or else she’s a beautiful psycho. Either way, he wants her gone before he becomes even more fascinated with her. But he can’t let her out of his sight, not until she confesses how she learned details no one but he and his late partner knew.

The Texan's Irish Bride

A man of his word, Dallas McClintock seeks respect for his skills with horses and the solitude of his ranch in the Texas Hill Country. On a trip home from delivering two mares, Dallas rescues Cenora O’Neill from assault . . . and receives gunshot wounds for his trouble. While Dallas is forced to recover with her band of Irish Travelers, Cenora’s father sets a trap and forces Dallas to marry Cenora. Too weak to escape, he agrees. Being leg shackled to a stranger is bad enough, but he’s soon forced to accept responsibility for his bride’s unruly family. Damned if he won’t think twice before he does another good deed.

Cenora Rose O’Neill is terrified she’ll be forced to wed the brute who leads the caravan in which her family travels to prevent their being cast out with only the clothes on their backs. When her father insists the handsome stranger has compromised her, she knows it’s not true and she should refuse to wed him. But she’d do anything to help her family, so she agrees. After all, Dallas is so kind and handsome . . . and marriage to him will protect her from the caravan’s evil leader. No man like Dallas would be likely to keep a poor Irish lass like her, especially with her family causing him so much bother. Mayhap she can give the marriage a try for however long it lasts.

Men of Stone Mountain Trilogy

The Men Of Stone Mountain trilogy is linked by the three Stone brothers—Micah, Zach, and Joel—and also by the fact that a different poison is used in each story. The setting for the three historical romances is 1871 to 1872 in the North Central Texas county of Palo Pinto, about sixty miles west of Fort Worth.

BRAZOS RIVER BRIDE

Hope Montgomery knows she’s being poisoned, but by whom? And why? She suspects her uncle, her guardian until she turns twenty-five or marries. He would inherit her estate if she dies. She doubts she’ll survive until her birthday eight months away. Her solution is to marry a man she can trust—one who will allow her control of her estate while removing the reason for her death. But on whom can she rely? The only man who meets her requirements is Micah Stone. Does she dare risk becoming Micah’s BRAZOS RIVER BRIDE?

The worst day of Micah Stone’s life was when he was accused of murdering his neighbor over water for Micah’s thirsty cattle. Only the testimony of the deceased man’s daughter, Hope Montgomery, saved Micah from hanging. But did the woman he yearns for believe him innocent or did she merely answer the questions put to her in court? When she proposes marriage to him, she makes it clear it’s not his dreams come true but a temporary paper arrangement in which she will deed him land on the river in exchange for his protection. Is it worth having his heart stomped on to save his cattle and his ranch?

HIGH STAKES BRIDE

Alice Price is on the run from stepbrothers who wagered her to settle a gambling debt. Zach Stone has been jilted by a cheating woman and now by a mail order bride and is through with women—at least until he meets charming but accident-prone Alice, complete with her green hair. Alice agrees to pretend she’s his mail-order bride and make everyone in his family hate her so he can send her away without anyone knowing he’s been jilted again. Her attempts backfire, and she captivates Zach’s family and friends. It looks as if the arrangement might turn into a real engagement until Alice learns her stepfather and stepbrothers are responsible for the downfall of Zach’s parents and the horrible accident that scarred Zach’s face. Though it breaks her heart, she has to leave. But Zach won’t let another fiancée slip through his fingers, especially now that he’s fallen in love with this quirky woman who makes him laugh and warms his heart. But can he save her from the men chasing her?

After laying false trails, she goes west until she reaches a town so remote that she’s sure no one from her former East Texas life will find her. She sets herself up as a seamstress and starts rebuilding her life. Why does the sheriff have to haunt her daily—is he suspicious?

Former Texas Ranger turned sheriff, Joel Stone has political aspirations and hopes someday to be governor. Nothing gets his ire up like a lawbreaker—unless it’s a liar. Joel has no use for either. Lately he’s realized he wants what his younger brothers have—a wife and children. Maybe that’s why the new lady in town bowls him over. He’s determined to wear down her standoffishness and enjoy the lady’s company, and he enlists his sisters-in-law to help her establish her business.
